-         Plantain chips cutter or a table knife

-         A frying pan (consider the size of your production)

-         Gas burner or a stove or charcoal burner

-         Nylon (for packaging)

-         Printed label

 

PRODUCTION MATERIALS

-         Bunches of ripe and unripe plantain

-         Vegetable oil (groundnut oil)

-         Salt

-         Grinded ginger

-         Grinded garlic                    (optional ingredients depends on your customers).

-         Grinded pepper

DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO PREPARE

-         Get your plantain sliced into small chips using your plantain cutter or your kitchen knife (this is done after you must have peeled the back of the plantain).

-         Add salt (ginger, garlic are optional) – mix it up with the plantain outside.

-         Place your frying pan on the fire and then pour your groundnut oil.

-         Let your oil get hot before you can then begin to fry sliced plantain. Remember not to get your chips burnt.

-         Begin to package your chips into your nylon bag and place your label on it as well.
