GRAPHIC DESIGNING
Becoming a graphic designer can be rewarding yet
very challenging depending on how passionate you are about it. Good designers
earn good monies for their job. Graphic designing consists of several
specializations like:
-
Typography

-
Packaging
and branding

Advertising
To become a graphical designer you need
to be at least a person who is analytically creative and artistic in nature.
Graphic designers are creative in that they have the ability to interpret the
request from client into clear “designs” that conveys the client’s message. You
need to have the “eye” for art.
If
you think you have all of the above qualities then graphic design would be good
for you, the only difference on paper and designing on computer would be that
on computer you have to do those same jobs with keyboard and mouse, nothing
more, nothing less.
GETTING
STARTED
There are a lot of certified schools and
universities that can get you trained here in Nigeria. Nowadays in Nigeria
unlike before, your skill is what your clients are focusing on. They want to
know how good you are at what you do. They would want to see some of your
already completed projects, which will prove to them that you are good.
