Factors That Will Make Your Business
There are three factors that every business that
must succeed will have. With these three factors, I can guarantee success in
any business anywhere and every where. These factors are simple, they are:
Branding,
Marketing and
Excellence.

details.
Branding
–
According to Ifeanyi A.C Eze in his book the entrepreneur he defined
branding as the process involved in creating a unique name and image for a
product in the customers’ mind. He went further to say that the key concept
here is “Creating a unique name and image”.
Most Nigerian Entrepreneurs don’t
take branding seriously they are only concerned with selling and that’s the
reason why after making the first sale, they still have to go through the same
process to make another sales.
Branding tells people who you are, what you do,
where you do and when you do.
Branding is a way of dyming your business to
yourself, your team and your customers etc. Branding can be referred to the business
identity.
A good brand will help:
Deliver the core message of the
business.
Confirm your
credibility.
Motivates customers to buy.
It
emotional connects to consumers and brings them back as a result creating
loyalty.
Please do not underestimate branding. Here in
Nigeria if you are not branded, you won’t seem to be any serious to your
customers. You have to bring packaging into your Business.
Some of the things that will communicate your
business are your logo, website,
packaging and promotional material of which should carry your logo.
The foundation of your brand is your logo.
Marketing
–
Marketing is very important for any success in business. Without marketing, you
cannot go very far. If you don’t market your business products and services,
you will off necessity wind up. It’s only here in Nigeria where you will see
people open a shop and just sit in the shop expecting magic to take place or
maybe fasting and praying that God will intervene.
Whatever it is that you do, there is always a way of
marketing it. Firstly you need to know who your consumers are, where they can
be found how they can be found.
If you don’t put all of these things into
consideration I can assure you of a limited progress in your business.
There
are several technique for marketing and that will depend on your kind of
consumers and services. Understand who your customers are and find a way to
reach to them in a more easier way. In a large organization, the marketing
manager goes a long way to ensure the success of the company.
